[Thirty first meeting]

Objective:
Reinforce understanding of grammar and mechanics.

Classwork:
Repeat the printing process from last class as well as the chunking process from last class.
Obtain a highlighter, any color.
I will be evaluating my paper for specific elements of grammar: the clause, the subordinate clause, the superlative and the relative pronoun. Mr. Alexander does not assume that I know each of the aforementioned grammar terms. He does expect that I understand how to search to learn the meaning of each.
At the top of the first page of the first chunk, write the word: superlatives; then highlight the superlatives in the chunk - the purpose is to verify that my writing is not redundant.
At the top of the first page of the second chunk, write the words: relative pronouns; then highlight the relative pronouns in the chunk or highlight where the relative pronouns should be written.
I will then correct any of the highlighted elements in this section that are not written properly.
At the top of the first page of the third chunk, write the words: split infinitives; then highlight the infinitives and split infinitives in the chunk or highlight where the infinitives should be written.
I will then correct any of the highlighted elements in this section that are not written properly.
At the top of the first page of the fourth chunk, write the word: dashes; then highlight the dashes in the chunk or highlight where the dashes should be written.
I will then correct any of the highlighted elements in this section that are not written properly.

Homework:
Complete classwork.
